How to write an Idea
1.) Explain your idea in 50 words. No more.
Nope it’s not like college with endless sheets or your boardroom with fancy slides. Just in 50 simple words, be precise and clear about what your plan or approach is, what tools its going to take (mobile app, SMS service, website etc), your target audience (use age specific demographic categories like ‘youth’ or ‘underprivileged children’) and the problem you’re solving for them or the benefit they’ll get from using your service.
2) We’re keen on hearing about hunches and ideas at an early stage of development or even thought. You may address the problem or the symptom of a problem but in a way that constructively addresses the problem and provides a solution. Do NOT post or send us long business plans or proposals.
3.) While your ideas may be inspired and derived in parts to, in fact, make another idea work better, the whole package of the idea must be originally written. References to any existing and similar ideas will be appreciated.
4.) You are allowed to post and vote for a maximum of three ideas in a given contest or weekly challenge period.
5.) Although the rules and regulations of the Ideas page remain standard across weekly challenges and ‘The God Awesome Idea Contest’ every quarter of the year (for the period of 3 weeks), the rewards for the same vary from each other. For weekly challenges, no assistance will be offered by Halabol on implementation of the winning idea; the Karma points will differ from the God Awesome Idea Contest; and the blog feature of the winning idea will be as per the selective discretion of the editorial team at Halabol.
6.) GOD AWESOME IDEA: Think ‘out of the box’ within the box
For the quarterly ‘God Awesome Idea’ contest, Halabol would sponsor a blanket amount of Rs. 10,000 for the implementation of the winning idea without exception. Although, we wouldn’t want to limit your imagination or ambition, but some of the most successful ideas are those which are practical as well and hence, get implemented!
